I stayed here for 5 nights in late October/early November 2008. Overall my stay was enjoyable. My deluxe room was spacious, plenty of cupboards, good comfy bed and efficient air conditioning. The bathroom was big enough and the shower was very good. The staff was lovely, polite and attentative to any questions or problems. The pool was a reasonable size, not overly deep. The Tipa is very close to all ammenities and only a few hundred metres from the beach front.

We stayed at Tipa Resort in May and thought it was wonderful. The rooms were excellent, huge beds, 2 bottles of free water every day, rooms serviced every day. The pool is very nice, although there could be more sun beds.
Breakfast was very good, with a wide veriety of cold and hot items available. The staff were also very good.
The location is perfect for everything in Ao nang.
Be careful if you get a taxi from Krabi Airport as the diver had no idea where it was and we arrived after dark, so try and have a map or ask the hotel to send written directions in Thai.
Would definatley stay there again and recommend Tipa to anybody

“Great Bungalows in the Bush”

We stayed in a bungalow for 5 nights in March 08. These are great rooms, set in the bush (thankfully we never found any of the wildlife inside our room), the rooms are cleaned each day & we were given free water. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The pool area is excellent for relaxing, although some what crowded when we were there, however the resort is in a fantastic location – walking distance to anything at AO Nang beach.

Very nice, beautiful garden and peaceful surroundings, just two minutes walk away from everything . Nice room, we had a deluxe room close to the pool. Very helpful and friendly staff. Reasonable prices both at the restaurant (we had several dinners there) and at the tour desk. TIPA can absolutely be recommended. |
